Case:002.

ICE-CUBES.

 Date:6/09/1982.

Afternoon.

bar door opens.

“drinks on me,” said Kamal.

“get ready to empty pocket,” said Keshav, and laughs.

both sat opposite to each other, kamal ordered scotch full bottle, and ice cubes.

Few minutes later order served.

Kamal prepares drinks,adds ice cubes for both, and said, “ to our project success”.

“ cheers,” said Keshav.

Keshav took his next 5 pegs likes shots, kamal still struck at his second one.

Kamal straggles take breath and fell on ground, started vomiting blood, and went unconscious.

Keshav reaches kamal shakes him to wake him up, and he sees the blood, and call waiter.

Everyone gathers around kamal, they informs ambulance, next minute Keshav gets unconscious, and falls on the ground, next to kamal.

Ambulance reaches bar, doctors confirms kamal’s death, leaves dead body on same position. Keshav on unconscious, doctors shifts Keshav into ambulance, starts treats him.

Inspector reaches incident place, checks kamal dead body,and checks Keshav position. Doctor confirms cause of death is due to poison, and they shifts Keshav, and kamal dead body to hospital. Police collects all data, and took scotch bottle, scotch glasses for lab test.

Lab reports confirms that, both scotch glasses contain equal amount of poison in it, but there is no poison in scotch bottle. Doctor report confirms that, kamal consumed more poison, but Keshav took more scotch. Witness said, “ no one reached them from they entry, they didn’t fight, they regular customers.”

Inspector caused trouble in solving case mystery, and he assumes Keshav is the murderer. But inspector found no clues, evidence to prove. Doctor confirm that Keshav will be come conscious up to night. Inspector calls detective for help to solve mystery. Detective agrees to solve mystery on one condition.

Detective reaches bar, smiles at inspector failure face. Inspector explains total scene, and shows reports, detective asks questions to waiter, and staff.

Detective reaches incident tables, and said, “ what is this bowl”, and points towards bowl on tables.

“ that’s ice cube bowl that they ordered, and ice cubes,” said inspector.

“ why you didn’t move this to lab,” said detective.

“ because they just ice cubes,” said inspector.

“ aha !, that’s wrong you said, no trace of poison in scotch bottle but, glasses contain full amount of poison,” said detective.

“ that means,” said inspector.

“ it means may these ice cubes contain poison, and send this to lab for confirmation,” said detective.

Inspector sends ice cubes for lab for poison tests, it confirms ice cubes contain poison.

“ both took same drink, both used same ice cubes, but Keshav is alive, and kamal is dead ?,” said inspector to detective.

“ you said Keshav took more drink, than kamal, that means Keshav drink very fast, so ice melted very less, so it proves that Keshav didn’t effected to poison.” said detective.

“ correct, I assumed Keshav is the murderer, because he is alive. Then who is the murderer,” said inspector.

“ there is two chances, may be Keshav is a murderer, or some one planned total scene. When Keshav comes conscious, he will give us another clue,” said detective.

Night 8 o’clock,

Keshav comes conscious, doctors gives information about his friend, and inspector wants to talk with for some information. Inspector enters into ICU room, and sits next to Keshav.

“ how do you know kamal?,”said inspector.

“ my college friend, we are working on project. Today we completed our project,” said Keshav.

“ you, and kamal has any clashes or problems,” said inspector.

“ no we are so close,” said Keshav.

Detective interrupts inspector, and said, “ do you doubts on any one.”

“ no, but when I’m going to unconscious, one person laughed on my face,” said Keshav.

“do you remember him,” said inspector.

“ I never seen him, he wear black shirt, and he talking to the waiter,” said Keshav.

Inspector interrogated waiter, and he accepts that he served poisoned ice cubes to them, and gives information about murderer, police captured murderer in another city after 2 days.

As agreed condition of detective, inspector mentions about detective help in front of press.
